"Mediocre software with a brutal billing system"
The software for the PM product is pretty average, and the billing and cancellation terms are really tough. We only used it for a couple of weeks, and when we tried to cancel our subscription, they hit us with threats of collections. As a result, our startup had to cough up a whopping 3k for something that's just okay, while there are similar options available for free out there.

"The software is mediocre and the billing system is excessively harsh."
The PM product software is quite mediocre, accompanied by harsh billing and cancellation policies. We utilized it for a mere two weeks, and when attempting to terminate our subscription, we were met with threats of collections. Consequently, our startup was forced to pay a hefty sum of 3k for a product that is merely average, while similar alternatives can be found free of charge elsewhere.

"I left three messages and called."
I've made three calls and left messages. Plus, I've shot off several emails, even one to the accounts receivable team, just trying to get a reply. Honestly, I'm really let down that I haven't heard back. Someone did get back to me, asking for more info (felt kinda automated), but after I sent the details, it went quiet again.

"I called and left three messages."
I have made three phone calls and left messages. I have also sent multiple emails, including one to the accounts receivable department, hoping to receive a response. I am extremely disappointed that I have not received any replies. One person did respond, asking for more details (which seemed automated), but after I provided the information, there was complete silence once again.

"The software was way too complicated."
This software is just overly complicated and detailed. After several months of trying to make it work, we decided to ditch it. Now, Wrike is asking for payment for three more quarters, saying their "hands are tied" because of the contract. Sure, they might have the right to ask for these extra payments based on the agreement, but it feels like a pretty short-sighted move. Like others have pointed out, some companies go for building goodwill, while others are all about raking in profits right away. Sadly, Wrike seems to be in the latter camp.

"The software was excessively complex."
The software was excessively complex and intricate. After using it for several months, we made the decision to abandon it. Wrike is now demanding payment for three more quarters, claiming that their "hands are tied" due to the contract. While it may be within their rights to receive these additional payments according to the contract, it appears to be a narrow-minded approach. As mentioned by other individuals here, some vendors choose to foster goodwill, while others prioritize maximizing profits in the immediate future. Unfortunately, Wrike falls into the latter category.

"Customer service is really lacking, showing a clear preference for profit over client happiness."
The support from this company is just plain awful. They hardly ever pick up the phone, and it usually takes a bunch of emails—around 4 or 5—before you might get a callback. This whole email ping-pong is such a hassle. Plus, their policies feel downright exploitative. For instance, if you need one more license than what you have, you’re stuck buying a pack of 10. That’s just silly if you’ve only got one extra team member. When we inquired about getting just one more license, their response was a blunt "No, you must buy 10." On top of that, if you’re locked into a multi-year deal and your license needs drop back to your original count, you still have to cough up for the extra licenses. We were using 41 licenses but now only need 38. Yet, they insisted we keep paying for 50 licenses for the rest of our contract. It’s clear that Wrike is all about the money and not about fostering good relationships with their clients. They prioritize profits over people. I strongly suggest steering clear of this company. There are loads of other project management tools out there that actually value their customers and offer a way better experience.

"The customer service provided is extremely unsatisfactory, with a clear focus on prioritizing profit over customer satisfaction."
The customer service provided by this company is extremely poor. They do not respond to phone calls and it takes multiple emails, usually around 4-5, just to get a call back. This back-and-forth email exchange is a waste of time. Additionally, their practices are predatory. For example, if you need just one extra license beyond your allotted amount, you are forced to purchase a bundle of 10 additional licenses. This is unreasonable if you only have one extra employee. When we asked if we could just get one more license, they replied with a firm "No, you have to buy 10." Furthermore, if you are in a multiple year contract and your license requirement goes back under your original allotment, you are still obligated to pay for the excess licenses. We were at 41 licenses but now only need 38. However, they insisted that we continue paying for 50 licenses for the remainder of our contract. It is evident that Wrike prioritizes profit over building mutually beneficial relationships. They put money first and customers second. I highly recommend avoiding this company. There are plenty of other project management platforms that actually care about their customers and provide a better experience.

"My experience with this software was just plain terrible."
While Wrike has some decent features, a lot of 'em come with bugs and don’t work right. I started off with the professional version, which was fine, but the Enterprise version is just full of errors and headaches. Plus, the support team is only around for a short time, which makes fixing issues take forever. It often takes days of back and forth emails before we can even get a call scheduled. It’s super annoying, especially since we’re paying for this software, and it’s holding us back from going live because of all the problems and inconsistencies. One of the simplest issues is that the user role access setup is a mess. Anyone can change, reassign, delete, or cancel the assigned tasks, which is beyond frustrating.

"I had an absolutely awful experience dealing with numerous business logic flaws."
Although Wrike offers good features, many of them have bugs and do not function as intended. I initially had the professional version, which worked well, but the Enterprise version is plagued with errors and problems. Additionally, the support team is only available for a limited time, causing delays in resolving issues. It takes several days of back and forth communication via email before a call is scheduled. This is frustrating considering we are paying for the software and it is causing us to postpone going live due to numerous issues and inconsistencies. One of the most basic problems is that the user role access setup does not work properly. The assigned task can be modified, reassigned, deleted, or canceled by anyone, which is extremely frustrating.
